Small children were rushed to emergency rooms an estimated 23,628 times because of shopping cart injuries in the U.S. in 2007 alone. Since so many plummet head-first to the floor, sidewalk or parking lot, two-thirds of those children had head injuries. Click for full-sized version. Our fine group of mom bloggers is in the midst of our first investigation, and this is all very exciting. I have been asked for an update, so I thought I would post one here. Hello. This is an idea I have had rattling around in my head. I am disappointed, dare I say disgusted, with what has happened to real newspaper journalism. Then it dawned on me.
